Daisy
Daisy was another mercy mission. Her owners were trying to return her to Super Pet when she was rescued by a neighbour
of my friend Maggie. The neighbour mentioned her to Maggie and Maggie said "Let me see if Laurie will take her..." Famous
last words - I have no willpower when it comes to animals whose families don't want them!
Sadly we were not able to adequately care for Daisy or give her the attention she needed. She was put up for adoption
at the Mississauga Animal Shelter in October 2004. It broke my heart.

Sasha and Rocky
Sasha and Rocky are 4 year old tabbies - Sasha is a tortie and Rocky is part Maine Coone part Tabby. They were both strays
rescued by the Credit Valley Ravine Cat Rescue and taken in by our vet.
When they came to live with us, they were both 9 months old. It took them about 15 minutes to get to know us and feel
comfortable in the house. From day one they've been affectionate, playful, and demanding! By far the funniest cats I've ever
known. Rocky eats with his paws at times, scooping the food out and pulling it into his mouth. Sasha drinks water with her
paw; dipping and licking. They can often be seen cleaning each other one moment and then kicking the crap out of each other
the next.
